After two summer seasons of 6v6, and due to popular demand, we are returning to our original SUMMER SEVENS format for the 2026 season.
SUMMER SEVENS is a 7v7 league for high school aged players with any level of experience. Games are played on a shortened field with 6 field players + goalie on each team. This format creates face paced, fun games where players get lots of action and lots of playing time. This is a great way for players to develop their skills and increase their confidence in the off season.
Players are encouraged to register as team if possible, however, individual “free agents” are welcome to register and will be placed on a team.
Coaching is not allowed during this season, which gives the players opportunity to problem solve together, fill in leadership positions, and keep the season light and fun.
Games are held once a week in the evenings during the month of July, with an additional night of tournament games during the last week of July. Each team is guaranteed a minimum of 5 games. Teams are placed in brackets for 3 “regular season” games, which will determine their placement for the semi-final and final championship games.
All games are played at Provo High School in Provo, UT.

- Maximum 15 players + 2 goalies
- ALL players must have a current USA Lacrosse Membership
- Designated team captain
- Team representative at game table during each game
Team Registration
- Each team needs a team captain (must be a current player). The team captain will register first at a discounted price at the same time as registering the team.
- Team captains are responsible for team registration, notifying team of the season schedule, distributing team jerseys, and will be the league’s source of contact for your team.
- Once a team is registered, the team captain will be given a unique registration link that need to be emailed out to players on your roster.
- There is no extra registration fee for teams, however, team registration is NOT complete until enough players have completed registration (player registration, participation waiver, and fee)
- Once your roster reaches the maximum of 15 players + 2 goalies, your registration link will be closed. Any additional players will be able to register as free agents and placed on a team.
- If a team fails to register the minimum 10 players, the partial team will be combined with other partial teams and/or free agents to create a complete roster.
- There is NO COACHING in this league, even during tournament play.
- Teams must commit to ALL games on your schedule. We want all of our teams to have a full season of games. If a team doesn’t show up that means their opponents don’t get to play one of their games. If a team does not show up to one of their scheduled games, they will forfeit the game and lose their priority registration for the following season.
- Teams that have participated in previous seasons will be given Priority Team Registration to secure their spot in our league.
- Maximum of 18 teams per season. First come, first serve.
Individual “Free Agent” Registration
- All free agents must have a current USA Lacrosse Membership
- Free agents will be placed on a team
- Free agents may request one teammate
