Program Coordinator

Position Type: Part-time | Seasonal (with potential for year-round)
Location: Provo, UT (Hybrid: remote + in-person as needed)

Position Overview

Utah County Lacrosse is seeking a Program Coordinator to help manage the logistics and day-to-day operations of our youth lacrosse programs. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting youth sports and community programs.

The Program Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring our programs run smoothly by overseeing registration, coordinating coaches and referees, managing field space, and handling the behind-the-scenes logistics that allow our athletes and coaches to focus on development and fun.

Key Responsibilities

Program Operations

  • Manage player registration, rosters, and waitlists
  • Coordinate seasonal schedules for practices, clinics, and games
  • Assist with planning and execution of camps, training sessions, and events

Coach & Ref Coordination

  • Communicate with coaches regarding schedules, expectations, and needs
  • Assist with scheduling referees
  • Serve as a point of contact for coaches and refs throughout the season

Field & Facility Management

  • Coordinate field reservations and permits
  • Communicate field schedules and location details to families and staff
  • Troubleshoot field-related issues as they arise

Communication & Organization

  • Send timely updates to families regarding schedules, changes, and logistics
  • Maintain organized records and documents
  • Support the Director with administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple moving parts and deadlines
  • Comfortable using online registration systems, spreadsheets, and email
  • Experience with youth sports, education, or community programs is a plus
  • Self-motivated and dependable with strong attention to detail
