We teach them everything they need to know and prepare them for their future high school or club team. We offer year round programs and that you can choose from according to your goals and availability. Our Spring season is in collaboration with IMLax for our game schedule.
Summer Sixes provides an opportunity for high school aged players to extend their lacrosse experience into the summer. The 6v6 format allows for more playing time and game action for each player. This is a games-only league, with 1-2 games each week for 5 weeks. Coaches are not allowed during this season, which gives the players opportunity to problem solve together, fill in leadership positions, and keeps the season light and fun. This is a great way to improve your skills and increase your level in the off-season.
FLEX6 Lacrosse is a fast-paced, non-contact version of lacrosse that’s designed to be fun and accessible for players of all ages and skill levels. This a great introduction to the game of lacrosse. MEET OUR STAFF:
Megan Jensen, Director
Founder & Program Director

Coach Megan is the founder, director, and head coach of Utah County Lacrosse. She grew up in Needham, MA where she played lacrosse for a nationally ranked, multi-year state championship high school lacrosse team. She was captain, leading scorer, All-American, All-State, and Player of the Year. She also played on the Lower New England National Team and competed in the National Tournament. Megan was recruited and received scholarships to D1 College teams including Boston University and Northwestern University. She ultimately decided to attend Brigham Young University where she played lacrosse, majored in music, and began coaching at Orem High School. She led Orem High School to win the Utah State Championship in 2003 and continued to remain a top team in the league for the 4 years she coached at Orem. Megan also started a junior league team at Timberline Middle School and was the first director of the BYU Girls Lacrosse Camp.
Megan took a break from lacrosse for 15 years while she built her family with her husband Dave. Megan and Dave have 6 children – four girls and two boys – and one beautiful granddaughter. She lives with her family in Provo, UT. Megan returned to coaching in 2020 when lacrosse became high school sanctioned, and became the first head coach at Provo High School where she still currently coaches.
In the summer of 2020, after the first school sanctioned season of lacrosse was cancelled due to COVID-19, Megan started Utah County Lacrosse Summer Sevens to provide games for all the high school players that didn’t get a spring season. Since then, the Summer Sevens league has continued to grow each year and evolved into what currently is Summer Sixes.
Megan has loved the opportunity and privilege to watch lacrosse grow in Utah and help so many girls fall in love with this amazing sport! She is passionate about providing opportunities for new players, helping girls realize their potential, and pushing them to achieve more than they knew they could achieve.
