COVID-19 Safety & Precautions

We are excited to provide high school girls the opportunity to get the playing time that they missed this Spring season due to COVID-19, but we recognize the virus is still a threat and concern. As anxious as we are to get back on the field, the health and safety of all players participating in Summer Sevens is our top priority. We will be complying with Utah’s safety guidelines regarding COVID-19.

If you or anyone in your household is experiencing any COVID symptoms or have been exposed to COVID, please DO NOT come to the field as a player or a spectator. We also encourage all spectators to wear masks while watching Summer Sevens. Players are not required to wear masks.

We will be taking the following precautions at every game:

  • We will take the temperature of every player before each game
  • Players will be required to answer questions about their symptoms, their household, and their recent travel
  • Teams will not meet in huddles for cheers, timeouts, or half times
  • Players will be asked to keep their gear 6 ft apart on the sidelines
  • Players will be asked to stand 6 ft apart on the sidelines
  • There will be no draws taken during the game. Each half will start will a goalie clear as well as after each scored goal
  • Opposing teams will not shake hands after each game
  • Players are required to bring their own water to each game
  • During clinics, all coaches and players will remain 6 ft apart
  • Spectators will be asked to keep 6 ft from each other on the sidelines
  • We ask that parents/players do not bring treat/snacks to share with the team
  • Hand sanitizer will be available to players and encouraged to use during timeouts, halftime, and substitutions
